The tiles offered in a “Jewelry” option (Gold, Silver or Bronze) are all thru-body porcelain tile, rectified and with a 3d texture. Particles of 18kt Gold and Silver are mixed with a liquid glaze and applied to the tile. The tile goes then into the kiln and by vaporization process, the metallic particles get fixed onto the surface then the tile is brushed and cleaned to achieve the mirror effect.

In regards to installation, we recommend setting material for porcelain tiles, un-sanded grout, and non-epoxy grout.
Tiles have to be cleaned immediately after installation to remove any grout residue: lime in the grout might damage the surface.
If the tile has to be cut, we recommend a brand new diamond blade; also, in this case, the tile has to be cleaned right away from water residue. Cleaning has to be done using soft cloth and water or PH neutral cleaners; an abrasive sponge or any acid detergents will affect the tile and the surface will appear dull.
