Diamond Black

Nature has forged a breathtaking process to create Diamond Black quartzite. Sandstone, subjected to immense pressure deep within the earth’s crust is transformed into an exquisite metamorphic rock – diamond black in its shimmering beauty!

0000

Black Diamond quartzite, which is also known as a metamorphic rock, is created from sandstone that has been naturally heated and compressed beneath the surface of the Earth. Like marble, this natural stone material has been transformed through heat and pressure and is both durable and visually appealing. Quartzite tile has a variety of residential design uses, both inside and outside the home. The exterior uses of this tile include hardscaping projects, like lining walkways and driveways. This stone can also enhance interior walls and floors, and update the look of the living room fireplace or bathroom shower walls. Quartzite tile stands up to household wear and tear fairly well, and is preferred because it is heat and stain resistant.
